Fostering Emerging Artists
About Honey Jam
Honey Jam is a non-profit multicultural, multi-genre artist development programme. Since 1995 we have worked with young emerging Canadian female artists from across Canada to provide mentoring, educational, vocal coaching, performance and networking opportunities.
We organize impactful experiences for the artists such as songwriting camps, industry panels and workshops, mentor cafe’s, opportunities to attend music industry conferences and events, artist talks and a showcasing opportunity at the annual Concert. It is a welcoming, supportive sisterhood and a safe space for young women to not only learn about the industry but also to be vulnerable, to build self esteem and long-lasting relationships.
For 30 years
the concert has been a much-anticipated fave Summer calendar event. Backed by a live band, artists have thrilled throngs of music lovers who pack the venue to witness the amazing and diverse talent!

“I met my manager there. If it wasn’t for Honey Jam I wouldn’t be here today quite literally.”

It’s already an uphill battle, so to foster and nurture this sisterhood is beautiful and needed.
